Book review: Lord Hornblower, by C.S. Forester

This novel is the last in the Hornblower series and is a sequel to The Commodore. The title might lead one to expect a gentle valedictory account of Hornblower's elevation to the peerage and subsequent transformation into a country squire, but far from it.
