Free will

A little while ago I reviewed The Oxford Book of Free Will and mentioned that I found Galen Strawson’s contribution to be the most helpful and insightful. When I was away recently I took Strawson’s Freedom and Belief with me to read, and I found it quite as good as I expected.

I’ve been thinking about the free will issue for 50 years now - it was the first thing that made me seriiously question the truth of Catholicism when I was still in my late ‘teens) and I’m glad to find now that I seem to have arrived at a view of the matter that I can make sense of.Read the review.
