Three new book reviews

I've just posted three new reviews: The Quest for the Shaman: Shape-shifters, Sorcerers and Spirit-healers of Ancient Europe, by Miranda and Stephen Aldhouse-Green; Shamans: Siberian spirituality and the Western Imagination, by Ronald Hutton; Narratives of Human Evolution, by Misia Landau.

I was particularly impressed by Landau's book. If anyone is wondering why I'm reading all this shaman stuff, the answer is that I'm trying to write a book about the origin of religion, starting with the later palaeolithic.
